Guys, check out the February Prompt Fest over at camelot_fleet! There are LOADS of prompts to choose from over many pairings, characters, and mediums. There's no pressure, no limits, and you don't have to be a member to nab prompts or fill them. Think of it as massive bunny garden you can pick over.

Speaking of Merls, the S2 vol 2 DVD commentaries are in the hands of a lucky few, and some of them have been very generous, so I have heard them.

Brief thoughts:

BRADLEY: I think there’s a bit of . . . female competition going on in this. [the scene where Morgana meets Morgause -- YEAH I KNOW, wtah]
TONY: Really?
BRADLEY: Yeah.
TONY: In what way?
BRADLEY: I don’t know. In the way that females compete. (pause) In the way that they tell me they do.
TONY: (pause … then, dubious) . . . Wait - what?
COLIN: (laughs)
BRADLEY: (over Colin’s laughter) You know that thing –

Angel remains a bit adorably shy and lovely and generally not letting Brads off the hook ever. ♥

Katie has concocted an entire fanfic in her head about Morgana in episode 11 that I wish had actually happened on screen but whatever; also, she is freaking lovely and Colin is the sweetest. The ep 12 commentary was ...interesting.

Alice Troughton is good people. She should come back and do more directing.

Jeez, I get it, SuperBowl Ad Guys: Your girlfriends are overbearing, useless, emasculating bitches and either a) beer or b) your manly car is your only escape.

I'm a little bit excited for the Olympics.

It has stopped snowing, yay! I think the total in my town is two feet and some change. Anyway, Bingley and I just got in from some rudimentary shoveling.

Seriously, it wasn't much. It consists of a single tunnel dug from the carport to the sidewalk. Bingley mostly "shoveled" a little bit of the grass and dirt I accidentally uncovered by miscalculating where the driveway stops and my yard starts. WIN.

Tomorrow, the real work begins.

I have pics, because Bingley doesn't play in the snow very much. He wouldn't look at the camera, though. *g* I put his leash on so I wouldn't lose him in a snow drift, although he's decidedly less white and more apricot when juxtaposed against all the snow, so I don't think it would have been a problem.

Also, also, you lovely people who deal with lake effect snow all the time? Love ya'll, but quit making fun of us in the mid-atlantic for freaking out; you are not edgy. :PPPPPP There's a certain amount of excitement that comes along with impending snow days when they don't happen very often, and that's all right. Also, maybe a foot or two of snow isn't much in the grand scheme of things but until you see people sliding from one side of the road to the other because they think their new 4WD gas-suckers mean they no longer need to employ caution in snow storms, don't tell me what's not treacherous.

First of all, I'm calling it an iTablet. The name? Clearly wasn't a woman's idea. Serious namefail. (LOL that #iTampon is trending on Twitter, btw.) NGL, I'm actually probably going to call it a PADD. Which only makes me want it more, ahaklhfa.

Second of all, Steve Jobs has the nerve to compare it to a Kindle when he's charging $200 more for it to start with.

Third of all, there is no excuse to sell a WiFi-only version separate from a 3G version, and then charge an extra $130 for that 3G version, if the data plan is optional and prepaid.

Fourth of all, how dare they come out with it this year when I was already going to possibly buy a Nook or a Kindle if I could swing it after tax season and now I may switch gears entirely.

Fifth of all, FUCK APPLE. It's totally a PADD though, omg shiny. At least give me the strength to wait until the second generation which might actually have, you know, USB or Flash or a webcam or something. FUUUUU--
